Its primary customers include automotive original equipment, including both combustion engine and electric vehicles, Appliances, agricultural and construction equipment, consumer electronics, building products, kitchenware, transportation vehicles and numerous other finished products. Distributes its products directly to manufacturing companies and various coatings applicators under the brand PPG. Packaging Coatings offers specifically formulated coatings used for the performance, protection, and decoration of metal cans, closures, plastic tubes, industrial packaging, and promotional and specialty packaging and distributes directly to manufacturing companies and various coatings applicators under the brand name PPG. Specialty Coatings and Materials offers amorphous precipitated silicas, organic light emitting diode (OLED) materials, optical lens materials, and photochromic dyes for tire, battery separator, and other end-use markets; and displays and lighting. Its products are distributed directly to manufacturing companies and various coatings applicators under the brand PPG. Teslin is used in applications such as radio frequency identification (RFID) tags and labels, e-passports, drivers’ licenses, and identification cards. The segment has major manufacturing and distribution facilities in Barberton, Cleveland, Ohio, the US; Busan, South Korea; Cieszyn, Poland; Quattordio, Italy; San Juan del Rio, Mexico; Sumare, Brazil; and Tianjin, Zhangjiagang, China.

Its primary customers include automotive and commercial transport/fleet repair and refurbishing. Its distribution channel includes independent distributors and direct to customers. It major brands comprises of PPG, Sem, Sprint. Protective and Marine Coatings offers products related to Coatings and finishes for the protection of metals and structures. Its primary customers include metal fabricators, heavy duty maintenance contractors and manufacturers of ships, bridges, and rail cars. Its distribution network consists of company-owned architectural coatings stores, and independent distributors. Its major brands consists of PPG. The Traffic Solutions segment offers paints, thermoplastics, and pavement marking products. Its customers include government, painting, and maintenance contractors.
