Mr. Andrew Mackenzie has been the Chairman of the company since May 2021. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of BHP from 2013 to 2019. Previously, he served as the Head of Industrial Minerals and Diamonds at Rio Tinto from 2004 to 2007. Mr. Mackenzie also served as a Non-executive Director of Centrica from 2005 to 2013.

Mr. Wael Sawan has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since January 2023. Prior to this, he served as a Director of Integrated Gas, Renewables and Energy Solutions. Previously, he served as the Vice President for Commercial, New Business and LNG in Qatar, Managing Director and Chairman of the Qatar Shell companies and Executive Vice President of Shell’s Deep Water business.

Ms. Sinead Gorman has been the Chief Financial Officer and Director of the company since April 2022. Prior to this, she held the position of Executive Vice President, Finance for Projects & Technology and Integrated Gas and New Energies. She was also the Executive Vice President of Finance for Upstream. She joined Shell in 1999 and held various key leadership roles in Finance.

Ms. Philippa Bounds has been the Chief Legal Officer of the company since 2023. Previously, she served as the General Counsel for Trading and Supply at the company. Ms. Bounds joined the company in 2005. She also held various positions at English and American law firms. Preceeding this, she also served various advisory roles, including special adviser to the EU Commission's Director General Internal Markets on securities laws.

Ms. Rachel Solway has been the Chief Human Resources and Corporate Officer of the company since 2024. Prior to this, she served as the interim Executive Vice President of HR Organisation Development & Learning of the company from 2023 to 2024; Executive Vice President of HR Upstream of the company from 2020 to 2023; and Executive Vice President of HR Integrated Gas of the company since 2016 to 2020.
