Ms. H. Stewart Parker has been the Chairman of the company since June 2017. Ms. Parker joined Sangamo as a Director in June 2014. From 2011 to 2013, she served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Infectious Disease Research Institute (IDRI). Prior to this, Ms. Parker founded Targeted Genetics Corporation in 1992 and served various roles in the company including the President, Chief Executive Officer and Director until 2008. From 1991 to 1993, she served at Receptech Corporation as the President and Director. Previously, Ms. Parker served as the Director at BIO a biotechnology company. Currently, she serves as member of board of Directors of different companies including IDRI, Oncogenex technologies and C3 Jian Inc.

Dr. Sandy Macrae has been the President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since June 2016. He also serves on the board of directors of 4D Pharma plc. Prior to this role, Mr. Macrae served as the Global Medical Officer of Takeda Pharmaceuticals, from 2012 to March 2016. From 2009 to 2012, he served at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) as the Senior Vice President, Emerging Markets Research and Development (R&D). From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Macrae also served as the Vice President, Business Development at GSK. Previously, he worked for SmithKline Beecham.

Ms. Prathyusha Duraibabu has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2021. Prior to this, she served as the Corporate Controller at Pacific Biosciences of California, Inc.

Mr. Mark McClung has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company since 2021. Previously, he served as the Chief Business Officer of the company since 2020. Prior to this, he served as General Manager of Global Oncology Commercial at Amgen. Previously, Mr. McClung served at GlaxoSmithKline as Head of Global Commercial for GSK Oncology.

Mr. Whitney Jones has been the Chief People Officer and Senior Vice President of Sangamo Therapeutics Inc since 2020. Prior to this, he served as the Chief People Officer at LendingClub. Before that he served as the Global Head of Human Resources at Grifols.
