Southwestern Energy Co: Executives

Ms. Catherine A. Kehr has been the Chairman of the company. Prior to this, she served as the director of California Resources Corporation from February 2015 t0 May 2017. Previously, she served as an investment analyst and portfolio manager with responsibility for global energy high yield debt. Earlier, she was responsible for investment analysis and a portfolio manager of global energy equities.

Mr. William J Way has been the Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2016. Prior to this, he served as President in December 2014 and Chief Operating Officer in 2011. Prior to joining the Company, he worked as Senior Vice President of Americas for BG Group plc.

Mr. Carl F. Giesler Jr has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company since July 2021. Prior to that, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer and Director at SandRidge Energy Inc from April 2020 to July 2021. Mr Giesler also served as the President and Chief Executive Officer and Director at Jones energy Inc from 2018 to 2020. He was also the President, Chief Executive Officer and Director at Miller Energy Resources, Inc in 2014.

Mr. Clayton A Carrell has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the company since 2017. Prior to joining the company, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of EP Energy since 2012 to 2017. He worked in the energy industry for around 30 years serving in various US and international engineering and management roles at ARCO Oil and Gas Company, Burlington Resources and Peoples Energy Production.
