Ms. Mellody Hobson has been the Chairman of the company since March 2021. Prior to this, she served as Vice Chairperson of the company from June 2018 to February 2021 and as its Director from 2005 to May 2018. She served as President of Ariel Investments from 2000 to 2019. Ms. Hobson also served as Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing at Ariel Capital Management Inc from 1994 to 2000, and as its Vice President of Marketing from 1991 to 1994. Previously, she served as Director of The Estee Lauder Companies Inc and DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. Presently, she serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of Ariel Investments LLC, President, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ariel Investment Trust, and Director of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Mr. Laxman Narasimhan has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since April 2023. Previously, he worked with PepsiCo and held various senior positions including Chief Executive Officer of Europe, Latin America, and Sub-Saharan Africa operations and Global Chief Commercial Officer. Formerly, he worked with McKinsey & Company.

Ms. Rachel Ruggeri has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at the company since February 2021. Prior to this, she served as Senior Vice President of Americas at the company. She also served in various finance positions at the company including Senior Vice President of Global Retail, Vice President of Finance for US Business, and Vice President of Corporate Finance and Planning, US Business. She joined the company in 2001. Previously, she served in a variety of sectors including Accountant in a local municipality.

Ms. Deb Hall Lefevre has been the Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since May 2022. Prior to this, she served as Global Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President at Couche-Tard/Circle K. Previously, she worked with McDonald’s Corporation and Motorola.

Ms. Kelly Bengston is the Chief Procurement Officer of Global Sourcing and Senior Vice President of the company. Previously, she served in various leadership positions at the company including Vice President of Global Supply Chain’s Strategy & Deployment team. She also served at various companies including Bensussen Deutsch, Macy’s, Cranium and Hasbro.
