Mr. Akio Toyoda has been the Chairman of the company since 2023. Prior to this, he served as the President of the company from 2009 to 2023; Executive Vice President and Director for IT & ITS, quality, product management, purchasing, Japan and overseas sales, and overseas operations from 2005 to 2009. Mr. Toyoda also served as the Chief Officer of the China Operations Group and the Asia, Oceania & Middle East Operations Group in 2005; Senior Managing Officer in 2003; Managing Director from 2002 to 2003; Chief Officer of the Asia & China Operations Center from 2001 to 2002 and served as the Member of the Board from 2000. Currently, he also served as the Chairman of Toyota Fudosan, Chairman of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc., Director of Denso Corporation, Director of Rookie Racing and Chairman of Toyota Gazoo.

Mr. Koji Sato has been the Vice Chairman and Chief Industry Officer of the company since April 2026. Previously, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Mr. Kenta Kon has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of the company since April 2026. Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer of the company.

Mr. Gill A. Pratt is the Chief Scientist and Executive Fellow for Research of the company. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Research Institute Inc and Executive Advisor to Toyota Central R&D Labs Inc. Prior to this, he served as Executive Technical Advisor of Toyota Motor corporation. Preceding this, he served as Program Manager at the Defense Sciences and Tactical Technology Offices. Mr. Pratt also served as an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and Director for Leg Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
