Transportadora de Gas del Sur SA (TGS), a subsidiary of Compania de Inversiones de Energia SA produces and markets natural gas liquids. The company produces ethane, liquid petroleum gas (LPG), and natural gasoline from natural gas at the Complex in Buenos Aires Province. TGS sources natural gas from the Neuquen and Austral natural gas basins. The company sells its products in the domestic and international markets. The company transports natural gas; and provides operation and maintenance services to the natural gas transportation facilities owned by certain gas trusts created by the government of Argentine. It provides carrier services to telecommunication operators and corporate customers. The company also provides various services such as pipeline and compression plant construction, operation and maintenance of pipelines and compressor plants, and steam generation for electricity production. TGS is headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
