Viper Energy Inc (Viper), formerly Viper Energy Partners LP, a subsidiary of Diamondback Energy Inc, is an upstream oil and gas company, which owns, acquires and exploits oil, natural gas properties in North America. The company has mineral interests in oil and natural gas properties in the Permian Basin in West Texas, which is one of the oldest and prolific producing basins in North American region.
