The client was looking to understand the market potential of categories and also the pain points of category manufacturers.

Our Solution

The GlobalData team executed a comprehensive project combining both market sizing and market entry strategy. The project made use of existing GlobalData data assets and analysis capabilities. In situ market analysis was conducted alongside business-to-business interviews with target category manufacturers. The project also made use of GlobalData’s forecast model.

A comprehensive market sizing model was created that enabled the client to understand the current and future market opportunities. Further, an insight report examined the needs of category manufacturers alongside current and future regulations. This allowed the client to assess the ease of entering the category.

Outcome

The client took the project findings and created packaging solutions across categories and markets. The client was also able to create strategic partnerships with key brands in each category and showcase the packaging solutions that had been created.
