Opportunity Assessment for an IBD Asset in 7 International Markets

GlobalData supported the client to understand the opportunity for their asset in the two IBD indications and fine tune the revenue projections for 7 international markets, to support the prioritization of geographies as part of its launch strategy planning.

Our Solution

  • GlobalData leveraged its proprietary platforms and addressed the gaps from internal data with additional secondary research to give the client a comprehensive overview of the disease landscape specific to each international market of interest to the client.​
  • GlobalData also leveraged its epidemiological data from syndicated team. These were complemented by 3rd party demand based sales data and triangulated with an in-depth literature search, in order to validate, refine and tailor the data that would feed the revenue model’s inputs.  This allowed to generate country-specific revenue forecasts that relied solely on secondary research inputs.​
  • The core deliverables contained sales forecast (Excel), and a deck (Power Point) assessing competitive landscape and guidelines across the 7 markets.

Outcome

Through creation of dynamic revenue forecasts and peak year projections, GlobalData supported the client’s go-/no-go launch decision for the IBD indications in 7 markets. The project involved a strong component of collaboration between GlobalData and the client’s leadership teams.
