Oil India Ltd (OIL) is an energy company. It carries out the exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas, transportation of crude oil and production of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The company’s business operations are mainly confined in the North East and Rajasthan in India. It also has participating interest in exploration blocks in Krishna Godavari Deepwater in India and in various projects in Libya, Gabon, Nigeria, the US, Venezuela, Mozambique, Bangladesh, Russia, and Israel. The company also provides upstream related services and operates crude and product pipelines. OIL owns a stake in Numaligarh Refinery Ltd, Oil India Sweden AB, Oil India Cyprus Ltd, Oil India(USA)Inc, Oil India International B.V and Oil India International Pte. Ltd. It also operates renewable energy projects in Rajasthan, Assam, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh. OIL is headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
