Dr. William G. Rice has been the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the company since October 2013. Prior to this, he served as Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chairman of the Board at Cylene Pharmaceuticals from 2003 to 2013. Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director of Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc from 1998 to 2003. He also served as Senior Scientist and Head of the Drug Mechanism Laboratory at the National Cancer Institute-Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research from 1992 to 1998 and served as a faculty member in the division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine from 1989 to 1992.

Mr. Fletcher Payne has been the Chief Business Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Senior Vice President of the company since 2023. Prior to this, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Syapse and Catalyst Biosciences. Previously, he served various roles at Chief Financial Officer and senior financial positions at CytomX Therapeutics, Plexxikon Inc., Rinat Neuroscience Corporation, Dynavax Technologies Corporation, and Cell Genesys, among others.

Dr. Rafael Bejar has been the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of the company since 2020. Prior to this, he served as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at UC San Diego.
