JD.com Inc: Executives

Mr. Richard Qiangdong Liu is the Chairman of the company. He started his own business in 1998. In 2004, Mr. Richard launched his first online retail website. Later in the same year, he founded JD. Previously, he served as the Chairman and Director of Jingdong Technology Holding Co Ltd. since June 2020, and the Chairman and Non-Executive Director of JD Health International Inc since September 2020. Currently, he serves as Chairman and Director of JD Logistics, Inc.

Mr. Lei Xu is the Chief Executive Officer, and Director of the company. Previously, he was the Chief Executive Officer of JD Retail. Mr. Xu held several leadership roles within the sales and marketing divisions of JD Retail, including head of marketing and branding, head of JD Wireless, and head of platform operations. Prior to this, Mr. Xu held several senior management roles at Allyes and Lenovo. Mr. Xu also serves as a Board Director of Dada Nexus Limited. Mr. Xu joined the company in January 2009.

Ms. Sandy Ran Xu has been the Chief Financial Officer at JD since 2020. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Financial Officer of JD Retail. Previously, Ms. Xu was an audit partner and worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers, San Jose office and PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian LLP, Beijing office. She also serves as a Director of Dada Nexus Limited, JD Digits, JD Health, and JD Logistics. She joined the company in 2018 as the Vice President of finance and also served as its Senior Vice President.

Mr. Chengfeng He is the Chief Compliance Officer of the company. He is responsible for building efficiency in public affairs, public relations, corporate customer relationship management systems and social responsibility. Previously, he held various management roles in public affairs and media, business management for a period of 20 years and more.

Ms. Pang Zhang serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer of the company since December 2020. Ms. Zhang also serves as a Director of JD Health and JD Logistics. She joined the company in July 2011 and held various positions within its several departments such as the company’s CEO office, JD Digits and JD Retail.
